The stem and flex arm is constructed of nickel plated heavy gauge brass. A clear, high-impact, poly carbonate lens safeguards the lamp and optics. I recently purchased this and realized it was too long for my grill set up its approximately 3'6 when straight. The CBC machined solid aluminum mounting canopy features an on off push button control protected by a rubber boot cover.
